Greens Maintenance

I'm pleased to say that the Greenkeepers have managed to get all of the greens maintenance work carried out already, and the main greens are now back in play. We now need some higher nighttime temperatures and some natural rainfall to help the greens recover. Thank you to Rob and his team for their hard work.

Stroke Indices

The revised stroke indices are now in operation from today. If you missed it, the changes were announced in the Golf & Handicap Committee article in the club magazine. The link to the magazine is below, copy and paste into your browser if you haven't yet seen it.

The Greenkeepers are in the process of installing the new graphics on the hole signs. These contain updated hole layouts, the updated yardages and the new stroke indices. The new scorecards are now available in the Pro Shop.

Men's Dinner Results

56 men played in the competition following the Men's Dinner on Friday night. 3 teams scored 42 points (over 17 holes). Congratulations to Jason Rae and Bob Forshaw for winning on countback. Alex Baker and Michael Martin came second, with Richard Riseborough and Louis Wladon in third.

Summer Fourball Auction

All of the pairs that entered the Summer Fourball knockout competition, were auctioned off at the Men's Dinner on Friday night. If you would like to, you now have the option to purchase up to 50% of your pair, from your owners. Please note, you must make contact with your owners, prior to the first round closing date (or before you play your first match), if you wish to purchase a percentage of yourselves. The auction list is attached with today's latest news email, this contains information of how much each pair was sold for, and who the buyers are.
