There will be an A45 Eastbound carriageway road closure this Friday night 4th April until 6.00 am Saturday 5th April 2025 whilst the new access road to the Industrial Estate is completed and opened by the contractors, Winvic. The exact time that the work will commence on Friday evening is unknown.
There will still be access on the Westbound Carriageway from the Iron Mountain/Ind. Estate roundabout throughout the night. The contractors will put in place diversion signs from the Stretton roundabout from which there will be no Eastbound access along the A45.
Draycote can be accessed by anyone approaching from the Westbound carriageway of the A45 with direct unrestricted access into Draycote Hotel and Whitefields Golf Club.
Visitors, staff and guests leaving the hotel or golf club between these hours will not be affected but there will be no access to return along the A45 Eastbound if they are heading towards Dunchurch/London M1.
