A lovely sunny warm spring day greeted us for our first medal of the year. In the first of our 6 MRC medals there was 77 players out competing. 4 people managed to shoot lower than their handicap. Non more so that Josh Matthews, taking the victory this week with a stunning nett 67. Score so good you scooped lowest gross to. Great knock their mate. Surely, that must have nicely knocked the handicap down a little.

Taking victory in Div2 was Gregg Magenheimer with a nett 70. Having played earlier in the week with Gregg this came as no surprise as he’s been working on his game, nice work buddy.

Just a quick mention, the pace of play for 3 balls was extremely slow on Sunday. We should not be out there for 4hrs 40mins in the earlier slots. Please can I remind all players its down to the players within your group to police the speed of play. If you’re having a bad day at the office and drop away from the group in front, then please just let the groups behind waiting through. The knock-on effect it has further back is more significant than you think.
