The committee have recently approved a proposal to create an Order of Merit (OOM) competition in both Gross and Nett categories; entry to both competitions is available to Club members at no cost. OOM points will be awarded to the top ten places in our summer competition fixture list from 1 March to 30 September 2025. Points will be awarded as follows; 1st place 10, 2nd 9, 3rd 8 etc etc. When the competition takes place on a single course then countback will be used to determine the exact top 10 but if the competition is played on an optional course basis then final scores will be adjusted using the relevant course rating of each course and points awarded accordingly. Any tied scores will result in the relevant number of points being shared equally between those involved.

The committee hopes that this added incentive will encourage participation. At the end of the competition vouchers will be awarded to the top 3 places.
