The preparations were still ongoing on the rest of the course as the first group had finished their putting challenge and teed off . Everything was in place however as the players worked their way round the course, and by the time refreshments were beckoning the weather had improved and the team at the tent made the trip worthwhile.
8 people managed to "beat the Captain" out of a field of 80 players. This was a surprise given the amount of malt whisky he'd enjoyed during the day!
Many members and guests managed to stay behind for the prize-giving and uplifting words from Hope House's Andy Goldsmith. ..........before heading home and watching some thrilling golf from Augusta National.
