Junior Basil Steer

Yesterday (Thursday 17th), our Junior team comprising of James Rainton (Captain), Tyler Storry and Henry Bright played some excellent golf at Exeter to win their first round in the County Basil Steer knockout competition against Stover.
James had a great win and Henry lost closely, both to very strong, experienced low handicap players leaving Tyler needing to win the 18th to clinch the match.
With nerves of steel he held it together and made the last putt and East Devon were the worthy (and very happy!) winners.
