A Message from Past Captain
A message from Widnes Foodbank:
In 2024 Widnes foodbank redeemed 2685 vouchers.
These vouchers fed 3411 adults and 1770 children totalling 5181 people fed.
We provide a minimum of 3 meals a day for three days, however we are a generous foodbank and supplement all of our parcels with bread, fruit and vegetables as well as essentials like toilet roll, shower gel, sanitary products etc.
The minimum meals we provided in 2024 was 46,629.
The numbers are staggering, and we could not operate without the generosity of local people.
