Congratulations to the winners of last week’s mixed foursomes competition on the Eden Course; Janet and Dave Finlay with an excellent score of 40 Stableford points.

Congratulations also to the runners up, Suki and Tim Stobbs with 38 Stableford points (b.i.h.) and to the nearest the pin winners. Nearest the pin for the ladies on Hole 5, Lynne Tait and for the gentlemen on Hole 8, Jim Csoppu.

The competition was closely contested by 36 mixed foursome pairs, playing in cool and calm conditions. There was a great buzz in The Club after golf. Thank you to the Catering Team who provided a delicious hot buffet on a ‘rolling basis’ for all the players after their game, and to the house committee members (Jean Cachia, Janice Hewitt and Joan Prentice) who supported the catering team and who looked after us efficiently and in a friendly and engaging manner.
