On behalf of Club Systems, I would like to extend our apologies for the system failure on Saturday. We fully appreciate how much stress this put on professionals, committees and administrators as well as the inconvenience to your members.
The issue was caused by a "corrupted index" to one of our score database tables. This then caused a knock-on effect to the whole database which then affected all parts of ClubV1, PSi and HowDidiDo. Our development and product team worked tirelessly throughout Saturday in order to identify the issue, work on a fix and then get this released to get the system back up and running again. Unfortunately, this was late Saturday night/early hours of Sunday morning, meaning score entry was affected throughout the whole of Saturday.
Unfortunately, one of the consequences of these issues, is that a lot of scores submitted via PSi or HowDidiDo on Saturday have not uploaded to ClubV1 meaning that any such scores will need to be re-entered manually by your club.
Please rest assured that we take problems like this extremely seriously and we do not underestimate the effects it has on you and your members. Time has already been put aside this week for our developers to look at our indexes, so that we can do everything in our power to prevent a repeat.
Once again, we apologise and thank you for your patience and understanding during what was a very frustrating day for us all.
Kind Regards,
Club Systems
