The Competition Chiarperson was talking to some of the women members today and they said that they were not aware of the rules for the 2 Person Fun Texas Scramble. Listed below is the information and rules shown on the competition information:
The event is called Women's Team of 2 Fun Scramble and is scheduled to begin on Thursday 22nd May 2025. The format is non-acceptable Ladies Texas Scramble Strokeplay. It is a closed competition, visitors are not allowed to enter. Normal Texas Scramble rules will apply and no limit on number of drives for each player. Maximum handicap index is 54. The player who's drive is selected will mark their ball position and play first. If on the fairway player 2 will place their ball within 6 inches of the marker no nearer the hole, if in the rough they will drop their ball from knee hight within 6 inches of the marker no nearer the hole. Fairway mats will be used if the ground is soft. The ladies will play the Billingham course off the Red tees.
