Combined Team Update

Mens Combined vs The Leicestershire Wednesday 30th April 2025.
First fixture of the season saw The Leicestershire visit Longcliffe, on a warm afternoon all matches were well contested but our opponents ran out worthy winners 4 ½ to 1 ½.
Our winning pair was Scott Marston and Ian Russell and1, with Kevin Stanley playing on his own managed to halve his match missing a putt on the 18th that would have snatched victory.
Members Mike Gubb and Adam Shepherd made their debuts for the team.
Our opponents were very complimentary of the course and thanks to Paul and his team for an excellent meal.
Mens Combined vs Leicestershire Police Wednesday 7th May 2025
This was the annual Moore and Munn commemorative match against Leicestershire Police.
Captain Alan Miller and Vice-Captain Dave McPheely both represented the team with Alan thanking our opponents in his after-match speech.
The Captain partnered by Les Mitchell won 2 up, Adam Shepherd and Pete Tims were 4 and 3 victors, Jim King and Andy Smith also won 4 and 3 with Scott Marston partnered by Andy De Wet maintaining his 100% record winning 3 and 2.
Another great meal provided Paul, and his team followed by the presentation of the trophy by Paul Stevenson, captain of the police team, with Longcliffe retaining the trophy 5-3.
