John Sullivan came second with 39 points with Graham Hope in third with 38 points. Congratulations also go to Norman Lee for a hole-in-one on the 2nd hole, from the white tees! The full results are attached with today's latest news email.
Halfway Hut
Our updated Halfway Hut menu is now finalised, and a copy of it is attached with today's latest news email. We have added the members prices to the menu so you can see the discounted prices. We have Panini's and Toasted Sandwiches back on the menu by popular demand (note - these will be available from Wednesday next week). We also have a new coffee machine being installed next week, so members will be able to enjoy Lavazza coffee instead of just the instant coffee that we have had previously. (We will be keeping the instant coffee as well for those that prefer it).
We have also introduced a mobile phone for the Halfway Hut so you can now order before reaching the hut if you wish to. The mobile phone number is included on the attached menu. We have some signage coming for the 5th tee and 13th tee which will also contain the menu and phone number.
We have the following deals as part of the updated menu:
4 Beers for £11
Bacon/Sausage Sandwich/Bap or Sausage Roll with Tea/Coffee or Bovril for £3.95
Bacon/Sausage Sandwich/Bap or Sausage Roll with Bottled Soft Drink for £4.95
The Halfway Hut is a fantastic benefit for our members, and in comparison to prices at other clubs, it offers excellent value for money. With a varied menu, members-discounted pricing, and now the convenience of pre-ordering, it's there to enhance members golfing experience. We encourage all members to make full use of the facility and support it whenever possible - every visit helps us continue to provide and improve this facility.
We have the picnic tables outside the hut again for those that wish to stop and enjoy their refreshments. If you do stop, and the group behind you aren't stopping, please ensure you invite them to play through.
As always, if you have any feedback to share with us about the Halfway Hut, please don't hesitate to contact Steen on steen.simon@bognorgolfclub.co.uk
