Midweek Stableford Results
57 men played in the Midweek Stableford competition yesterday. Congratulations to Andrew James for winning the event with 44 points. Mick Garrigan came second with 41 points. Chris Barnett and Mark Jordan both had 40 points. The full results are attached with today's latest news email.
Club Representative Sides
Men's Scratch Team
We wish the best of luck to the men's Scratch Team who play on Saturday in the quarter-finals of the Wellesley Wealth, Sussex County Scratch Knockout competition. They are playing Littlehampton Golf Club and the match is being hosted at Worthing Golf Club.
We also wish the best of luck to the men's Handicap Team who are also playing on Saturday in the second round of the Sussex County Handicap Plate competition. They are playing away at West Hove.
Ladies Morrice Foursomes
Bognor received a bye in the first round and got drawn against Haywards Heath away in the second round. This was played on Sunday 25 May 25.
All 3 pairings went to the 17th but unfortunately that was the end of the road for all 3 pairs.
All pairings enjoyed the day, albeit not the result. Thanks to you all for playing and representing Bognor ladies. The team was:

Bognor A were drawn away against Goodwood which was played on Thursday 5 June at 1.30pm.
The team for this was:
Sian Southerton, Nicki Vincent, Sharon Reynolds, Bridget Samuels and Chloe Briance.
What a contest this was in strong winds and driving rain, it was a challenging day. There were some tight matches and the Bognor ladies ended up with 2 wins, 2 losses and one half. This meant our 5th player had to start again from the 1st tee in a play off. Chloe was nominated to go out in the 5th position, in case this situation arose. She fought well but some strong putting off the green from Goodwood meant they were victorious and went through to the 3rd round.
I am very proud of the efforts of the team away at Goodwood, thank you all.
Kyocera (B)
On a rather blustery, but dry, Friday afternoon the Ladies Kyocera B team played against Cowdray at Bognor. All matches were very competitive and Bognor were successful with a 3-2 win. Thanks to the team of Caroline, Penny, Lynn, Ann and Sheila and good luck for the next round which will be away against Worthing. Date to be arranged but closing date is 6th July.
Jerdein Memorial Salver
This is taking place at Copthorne Golf club on Monday 14th July.
