RNLi Results, Club Sides
Men's RNLi Stableford Results
136 men played in the RNLi Stableford competition over the weekend. Congratulations to Chris Seaton for winning the competition with 45 points. Michael Potts came second with 42 points. Norman Lee, Craig Gregory and Sean Walker all had 41 points. The full results and latest Hollymead Cup standings are attached with today's latest news email.
Club Sides
I'm delighted to say that the Men's Scratch Team won their quarter-final match 7.5 - 4.5 on Saturday against Littlehampton Golf Club, played at Worthing Golf Club. They now progress through to the semi-finals and will play against East Brighton Golf Club, the neutral venue for this match is yet to be announced. The semi-finals will take place on Saturday 19th July. This is the third time in 5 years the team has reached the semi-final stages of the County Scratch Knockout.
Unfortunately, the Men's County Handicap Team lost their second round match in the plate competition, away at West Hove. Commiserations to the team.
The Men's Kindred Cup Team played at home on Sunday against Farnham Golf Club. Unfortunately, they lost 3-2 with every game coming down to the 18th hole, or extra holes. Commiserations to the team.
Volunteers
Further to my email last week, asking for volunteers to help with sweeping the trolley sheds and cleaning around the shoe cleaner area once per quarter, I'm still 3 members short. I should have added, there is no set day for completing the works, you will just be allocated a week once per quarter and you can pick the day of the week. Hopefully, we can get 3 more members to give us a full team of 12. Many thanks.
