Congratulations to our Junior Captain, Gabriella Crowfoot who came runner up at the Tigress Trophy at the weekend. Held at Northampton Golf Club’s lengthened “Tigress” course, the Tigress Trophy is a World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) and England Golf Order of Merit event.
16 year old Gabbie shot scores of +1, +4 and a magnificent -1 on the final 18 (which was also the joint lowest final round) to become runner up of this prestigious trophy. She also reduced her handicap from 0.9 to +0.1 over the three rounds.
Well done Gabbie, what a fantastic achievement! Longcliffe GC is so proud to have you as Junior Captain, you are a wonderful role model both on and off the course!
