GUR – what is and what isn’t
As stated on the scorecard and on the noticeboard in the Club shop:
GUR is
• Areas marked with white lines, rope, etc.
• Newly dug and seeded areas
• New drainage installed on the 1st, 5th and 10th fairways
Free relief, drop your ball within one club length from the nearest point of complete relief.
GUR is not
• Previous years drain lines
• Areas with brown and withered grass
• Areas of bare earth
Play it as it lies
