Dear Member,

The Club Championships and Tailby Trophy will be held on the 28th & 29th June. The preparations for them are now almost complete and as you will appreciate many folks have been involved in progressing things to this point.

We have reached the point now where you, the members, should be asking, "What can i do for my club, not what can my club do for me". On the day, to ensure things run as smoothly as possible, we need to cover a number of roles, which is where volunteers can assist and make a great difference.

If you can spare a few hours, one of the days or even the whole weekend to help it would make such a difference. Even if you are playing you could come down and spot prior to going out for a couple of hours, or if you are out early stay on afterwards for the same amount of time to spot for players going out later.

To offer your time please email me using puckrupgcchairman@gmail.com indicating when you are available to assist. We will then draw up a table to fill roles for the weekend and thus ensure the weekend is both a success and enjoyable. Please remember the rough is getting long in places and a spotter may avoid someone's chances taking a downturn early in the weekend.
