Model Local Rule F-8 will be in place from Thursday the 10th of July replacing preferred lies.
Cracks on the fairway are classed as ground under repair and relief may be taken under Rule 16.1b. Relief is only available if the ball is in the crack and no relief given for stance. When taking relief the ball must be dropped within 1 club length of the crack no nearer the hole.
