Swiss Seniors Open Update
To All Our Members,
I caught up with Andrew Marshall yesterday ahead of this week’s
Swiss Seniors Open, which tees off on 11th July.
After a long drive to Switzerland, Andy was pleased to be settling in and, most
importantly, practicing with his own clubs this year! Some of you
may recall that last year he had a rough time with travel, not receiving his clubs
until the second round – not ideal preparation for any tournament.
Despite the long journey, Andy sounded in good spirits and reported that the course
is in excellent condition. He was happy with how he played yesterday
during the lead-up Pro-Am event, and even better – his team won the prize for
the lowest gross score. A great confidence booster and a solid start to the week!
Andy mentioned he feels the course is playing well again this year and expects
low scoring across the board. He's hoping to post some low rounds
himself and build on last year’s performance.
Let’s all wish him continued success for the tournament. As I told him —
“Just concentrate, get your playing mode in gear… and do well!”
You can follow Andy and all the action on the
Legends Tour website.
Best regards,
Steve Beckham
