Away Defeat for Ladies
Tough Test at Looe
On Friday 11th July , the Ladies League Team travelled to Looe.
It was a glorious day and the team played in blistering heat.
The first two Ladies in suffered defeat, but Mandy Dennison and Edwina Thomas managed two wins to level things up.
Donna Gibson came in with a half and we thought we might clinch another Away draw, but Lis Jenkin and Ladies Captain - Bev Bell were each pipped on their last putts! Lis on the 17th and Bev on the 18th!
The overall result came in at Looe- 4 1/2 to West Cornwall - 2 1/2.
The Ladies lie in 3rd place in League Division 2 now.
