Mixed Greensomes Open Result
Sunday 13th July
Another great day of golf was enjoyed by all at today's Mixed Greensomes Open, where 60 pairs took to the course in continuing very warm conditions. The weather certainly brought out some spectacular scoring, with competition fierce from start to finish.
Congratulations to Steve and Sharon Usher from Aberdovey, who took top honours with a superb performance to claim 1st place with 48 points.
Runners-up were Irmína Krzak and Chris Cox from Shifnal, who delivered a strong round to finish just behind the winners with 47 points.
In third place, local pair Gary and Pat Broadbent with 46 points, followed in fourth by Peter and Jane Jones, also representing Aberdovey.
Rounding out the top five were Marcus and Claire Goldsworthy from Southerndown, showing good form again having been placed in the prizes in this event last year as well.
