On Sunday afternoon straight after the Mens Medal we saw our inaugural Junior Competition take place.
6 entrants which we were quite happy with for our 'test' outing. A few with no handicaps too - so a really good opportunity to get out in competition conditions and learn about the game and yourself. Some really good play and some unbelievable drives! We've a couple of absolute stars in that Junior section - but - we need some more! The new players will all be receiving a CDH shortly and so can start to put cards in for handicapping purposes in general play as well as the competition formats that we'll be running.

This is a great opportunity to learn more about course etiquette and gain an official handicap.

Well done to Jacob Brophy who won with a very respectable 18 points - dropping his handicap down from 21.6 to 21.4.

We are going to run a few more over 9-holes and see what the take up is in August - next event date is the 3rd August - again straight after the Mens Stableford - it will go live for booking this Sunday at 1800.
