Captain's Day - 2nd August - Charity Raffle & Auction

Please see below a note from our Club Captain, Ian Stoneham, about his upcoming Captain's Day.

Dear Member,

With just over 1 week to go until Captain’s Day I’d like to remind you all about the raffle and auction for my charity. This years Captain’s charity is the Golf Foundation supporting young people into golf whilst promoting a healthy lifestyle.

As in previous years we will be running a raffle on the day and during the evening I’ll auction off a few lots which have been generously donated. If you wish to purchase raffle tickets in advance you can buy these at the bar. Tickets are £1 each or £5 for 6. They will also be sold on the day.

If you are in a position to donate a prize or auction lot please drop them into the office as soon as possible. If you are a local business and wish to donate a prize, service, or a little funding so we can purchase prizes on your behalf, it will be gratefully received and your business will be promoted on the day. If you have an hour to spare on the day and would like to volunteer to help with selling raffle tickets, your help would be gratefully appreciated. Please contact me to let me know.

Other prizes generously donated include a voucher for Finos, The India Raj and tickets for Chichester Festival Theatre.

If you would like to bid on an auction lot but can’t attend on the day please reply to this email to let us know your maximum bid and we will submit it as appropriate.
