Apologies, I omitted to include the Lady Captain's report from her Captain's Day on Tuesday, please see below:
What a fantastic day! From the laughs out on the course to the friendly competition, I hope everyone had a great day of golf.
My theme for the day was ‘By The Seaside’ and I would like to take a moment to appreciate those fabulous costumes. I absolutely loved seeing the creativity and spirit.
It truly takes a village to put these events together, and I’m so grateful for all the support behind the scenes. Whether you were setting up, organising, running around with last-minute bits, or just lending a hand when it was needed—you made the day what it was.
Special thank you’s go to:-
Steen and the amazing in-house staff. The afternoon tea was delicious. You really spoiled us.
Richard and James for all the admin and keeping things on track—your efforts definitely didn’t go unnoticed.
To the Pro Shop staff for their support and help.
Rob and the greens staff who had the course looking absolutely perfect.
Bob and Don for putting up the tent.
To my Committee for generously offering your time, energy, and ideas.
All those who came to wish me well.
Final, everyone who played in the competition. You all had smiles on your faces despite getting a little damp from the sharp shower about an hour into the competition.
There was a fair bit of “beg, borrow, and possibly steal” involved in making my day come together—and I’m beyond grateful for everyone’s generosity along the way.

There is a slot for one player at 10.52 tomorrow. If you would like to play, please add your name on the booking system or contact the office.
