New competition format this Saturday
Multiple tee competition - Stableford
Our club’s first Multiple Tee Competition!
To ensure everyone has a great experience, here’s a quick guide to how it works and what to expect:
What’s a Multiple Tee Competition?
This event uses two different tee boxes, White and Yellows, making the course fun and fair for everyone. It's the player's decision which tee they wish to play from; groups may decide to play from different tees. This is also fine; it's up to the individual when they sign in on the computer.
How Handicaps Work with Slope
Your handicap will be adjusted using the slope rating of your assigned tee to calculate your course handicap. This ensures fairness, whether you’re playing from the forward (easier) or back (tougher) tees. Check your scorecard or the starter’s desk for your specific course handicap.
Key Info for the Day
Select your tee for the whole round on the computer when you sign in on the scores PC.
Rules: Standard golf rules apply, with handicaps adjusted per the slope rating of your tees. Review your tee’s slope and course rating for accuracy.
Pace of Play: Keep up with the group ahead to ensure a smooth day for all.
Score Submission: Enter your score as usual on the score PC and place your card in the usual slot.
This competition is all about enjoying golf with players of all abilities. Play your best, respect your fellow competitors, and let’s make this a memorable event. If you have questions, our staff is here to help.
Tee off with confidence, and good luck!
Best regards,
Simon
