John Fourie Cup

The seniors played in the inaugural John Fourie Cup on Monday. 30 intrepid souls played in the height of “STORM FLORIS” Most came back!
It was a hard-fought contest, but the trophy was won by Larry Thompson, who played extremely well in very challenging conditions. Geoff was second followed closely by the two Harry’s. (See photo attached)
The senior section has tried to contact John Fourie. He is still alive, and it would be nice if he gets to know we haven’t forgotten him. (John Fourie won the prestigious Callers Tournament in 1977)
