Ladies do well at MacDuff ??
Anne Leitch, Anne Stokes, Aileen Kennedy, Meg Laidler, Jennifer Bryans and Elizabeth Burns headed up to MacDuff to take part in the 4 day competition at Royal Tarlair Golf Club last week. Storm Floris made it impossible for proceedings to take place on Monday so there was only one day for qualification.
All ladies qualified for their respective divisions Anne,Aileen,Jennifer and Meg for Scratch. Annie for High Hcp and Elizabeth for Low Hcp.
Anne and Meg lost in the quarter finals in the semi final and our club champion; Jennifer Bryans went on to play Keri MCGinn ( Duff House Royal ) in the final where she won 4&3 to become Champion for 2025.
Annie won through to the semi finals but lost to the eventual winner Linda Thomson 3&2 from Royal Tarlair.
Elizabeth won through to the final and had a very close game against Lynne Gordon ( Rosemarkie ) where she lost on the last.
For those not involved in the finals there is an opportunity to play in a Greensomes where Anne and Aileen picked up the Scratch prize.
All and all a very fruitful week for Harburn Ladies and a huge congratulations to Jennifer.
