The Channel Island Finals were played at La Moye GC this weekend - apart from the Men's match which has been postponed owing to injury to Jersey Champion Sam Quail (Royal Jersey) - and the Royal Jersey has two new CI Champions.

Melissa McMahon defeated Guernsey Champion Chloe Gaudion 5&4. Despite going one down on the 3rd hole of the first round on Saturday, Melissa went ahead after 8 holes and was in control for the rest of the round finishing 4up overnight. It was much of the same the next day and Melissa completed the match on the 32nd hole.

Jacob Townsend, in the Junior final, was also in control from the very start in his match against Noah Davy and finally saw off his Guernsey challenger 8&7.

In the senior's match La Moye's Jeremy Phillips was playing Guernsey's Andrew Boyd. Seemingly in control, Jeremy was 3up after 8, extending his lead to 5up at the turn. However, the Sarnian fought back on the back nine and until Jeremy finally closed out the match 2&1.

The only Guernsey win was in the Ladies Senior final where Veronica Bourgourd defeated La Moye's Gloria Paradiso 5&4.
