Competition Eligibility Policy
In the first edition of the members magazine, released earlier this year, we advised members that the Golf & Handicap Committee had introduced a new rule covering eligibility for winning club competitions from 1st January 2026. The full policy governing this rule has now been finalised and is attached with today's latest news email.
In summary, you need to have submitted at least 6 qualifying 18-hole cards during 2025, to be eligible to win competitions in 2026. Members are encouraged to check their handicap records to see how many cards they have submitted so far this year, and to submit more cards if they haven't got enough.
Hopefully, the policy is fairly straightforward but, if you do have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
