Lewie wins Pro-Am with Links team
PGA Pro-Am at Links
Links Assistant Professional, Lewie Rudd won the PGA team Pro-Am at the Links on Thursday. Lewie and his team of Lawrence Hastie, Naomi Pilmer and Cliff Marsden won by one point. They had a magnificent 91 points (19 under par) in the two scores from four format beating 34 other teams.
In the individual Professional competition, Mark Talbott from Upminster Golf Club was victorious with a 6 under par 66, which included 7 birdies and just the one bogey. Mark was two shots clear of Darren Close from Brampton Park who shot a 4 under par 68.
A great day was had with special thanks to the green staff for the condition of the golf course.
