Ladies Results, Live Music Sunday, Bank Holiday Mixed, 4 Team Challenge
Ladies Results
14 pairs played in the 36 hole Ladies Phillips Salver Foursomes yesterday. Congratulations to Jane Russell and Sue Doughty for winning the competition with scores of 46 + 40, a total of 86 points. Jackie Chamberlain and Sally Cameron came second with scores of 35 + 37, a total of 72. Bridget Samuels and Teresa Byrne came third with scores of 37 + 34, a total of 71 points.
12 pairs played in the 18 hole Ladies Foursomes competition yesterday. Congratulations to Vanessa Cole and Sue Crossen for winning the competition with 47 points. Georgina McCormack and Sheila Hendrick came second with 45 points, with Margaret Delves and Frances Peace in third with 42 points.

Live Music - This Sunday Night
As part of the Daniel Hoare Charity Day this Sunday, we have popular local band Petrol Money playing live in the clubhouse on Sunday night. All members, and friends and family are welcome to come along to the club to enjoy the evening, regardless of whether you are taking part in the golf day or not. There is no charge to come along. The prize giving and auction for the golf should be taking place around 7-7.30 pm. The band will follow after this.
Bank Holiday Mixed Competition - Monday 26th August
We have a Bank Holiday Mixed competition taking place this Monday. You can enter via the Club V1 app. Full details are on the poster attached with today's latest news email.
4 Team Challenge Results
The 4 Team Challenge competition was resurrected on Saturday, with a 16 a side match between representatives of the men's, ladies, seniors and intermediate/junior sections. The ladies had a late charge to secure victory in this year's event. Well done ladies!
