9 Hole Stableford

The first of four 9-hole Wednesday medal stableford competitions was played out by 34 competitors in very changeable weather.
Congratulations to winner James Hamilton who beat trio Angus Wragg, Alex Roberts and Chris Rooney with 21 points. The trio all finished with 20 points with card count back giving second spot to Alex Roberts and third to Angus Wragg.
James had a gross 39 with a birdie at hole 6. Alex had a gross score of 41 which included 5 net birdies. Angus scored a gross 40 with a birdie 3 at the first.
Having missed on the card count back Chris Rooney won the best gross score with a tidy 37 which included a birdie at hole 8.
James wins £17.00 for his efforts, Alex wins £8.50, Angus wins £5.10 and Chris gets £3.40

No two’s were scored at the 5th hole so £27.20 sweep carries onto next round. The twos will be paid out on the 3rd hole for round 2.
