Moxon Fossil Trophy
Maslen vs Rex
The Moxon Fossil was first presented by Geoffrey Moxon, a long time member of EDGC. It is played for annually by a Seniors Captain’s team vs a Seniors Vice-Captain’s team.
This years event took place in conjunction with the seniors 4BBB competition on Monday 1st September.
In each tee time, one pair played for the seniors captains and one for the seniors vice captain - the pair with the most stableford points scored a win for their respective team.
The captains decided that team colours should be worn, Pauls being blue and Roger’s was green (obviously for Australia) - this was a partial success.
In the end, bragging rights went to Mr Maslen as his team won 12-9
