Maggies Mug
The ladies romp to victory!
On a beautiful sunny but windy 5th September, eight pairings of Ladies and Seniors took on the challenge for Maggie's Mug.
The format is 4BBB matchplay with the Ladies playing off the 55's and the seniors off the 59 tees.
The wind increased as the afternoon progressed adding to the challenge of the long uphill 12th and the 14th. However there was much laughter echoing around the course and in the clubhouse afterwards.
The whole afternoon was played in great spirit and the day finished with a meal in the clubhouse for all the hungry (and thirsty) participants.
This year the Ladies claimed a victory winning 5.5 to 2.5. Well Done to Everyone!
