Junior Captains Day
6th September
Junior Captain’s Day on Saturday was a great success with 5 teams competing in a Texas Scramble.
Fun was had by all, the golf was of a great standard and closely competitive. James Rainton (Junior Captain) led his team of Harry Duggan and Rory Reynolds (plus “ghost”) to victory and James also won “nearest the pin” on 4th.
The team of Jack Delve, Scott Rainton, Jack Trout and Annabelle Boys won “nearest the pin in 3” on 9th (into a very stiff wind!)
Pizza, chips and prizes were much enjoyed after a lively putting competition won by Harry Delve, Rory Reynolds and Henry Bright.
Well done James for such an enjoyable day and a good year of leadership of the Juniors and thanks also, as ever, to the Juniors organisers Rowan Edbrooke and Jo Goldsworthy for all their efforts in the year
