Event Overview

The Jack Smith Trophy is now open for booking. This competition is a mixed pairs event, welcoming teams to participate in a friendly yet competitive environment.

Entry Fee and Inclusions

The cost per team is £10. This fee also covers entry to the nearest the pin competition on all Par 3 holes, providing additional opportunities for recognition and prizes.

Competition Format

The event will be played in the Canadian Greensomes format. This unique style encourages teamwork and strategy between pairs.

Eligibility and Prizes

Entrants must hold a club handicap of 54.0 or lower to participate. However, only teams where each member’s handicap index does not exceed 36.0 are eligible to win the Trophy and prizes. Nine-hole members may enter as long as they pay the required Green Fees at the office. Vouchers for the Professional shop will be awarded to the teams finishing in first and second place.

Handicap Allowance

Handicap allowance for the competition is calculated as 60% of the lower handicap plus 40% of the higher handicap within each team. This ensures fair play and balanced competition across all entries.
