Captain’s Handover Weekend at OGC

Last weekend marked an important occasion at OGC — the conclusion of Trevor and Ann’s year as Captains and the beginning of Dez and Mandy’s captaincy.

The celebrations began with the Men’s Foursomes Championship and Daily Mail Qualifier, won by Trevor Maidment and Kev Suitor.

Following the competition, members gathered for the presentation of the Summer Knockouts. Congratulations to all our winners:

After the trophy presentations, the Past Captains put out and the new Captains drove in, with proceeds from the event going towards the Captains’ chosen charities.

In the afternoon, the ladies enjoyed a 9-hole two-ball scramble, won by Gill and Ann, followed by delicious cakes and refreshments.

It was a wonderful and successful day celebrating both the achievements of the past year and the start of a new captaincy at OGC.
