AUTUMN FOURSOMES (Also qualifier for Daily Mail Foursomes)
Next Saturday you can form your own pairs, pay in the shop (£10 per pair) and play at any time of the day as long as someone, or another pair, can mark your card.
Foursomes is played in the recent Ryder Cup. Basically, you play one ball between the two of you and play alternate shots.
Whichever player tees off on hole one, he will tee off on all odds number holes while his partner will tee off on the even number holes and you then play alternate shots with the same ball
Handicap allowances are 50% of the combined COURSE HANDICAPS (forget playing handicaps or 95%).
So player A has an index of 15.7 (CH14) and player B has an index of 6.6 (CH5) 14+5 =19. 50% of 19 = 9.5 so play off 10.
Scores to go into the machine even though it is a non-qualifier.

Wednesday October 29. PRO SHOP STABLEFORD.
It’s the last one of the year. Pay in shop £5 inc twos, play at any time, placing, yellow tees, qualifier, 95% allowance.

Saturday / Sunday November 1 / 2 NOVEMBER MONTHLY MEDAL
Pay in shop £5 inc twos. Play anytime on the weekend. White tees, 95% placing qualifier.

Shotgun Start 8.30am. Texas Scramble. Entries close Thursday November 27, Draw for teams will take place Friday morning November 28, so get your name down on the sheets in the locker rooms. This is open to all members and there is a free meal afterwards courtesy of the management
