Frank Wills Lose Tight Match
Down to the wire
The Frank Wills team travelled to Falmouth to take on Budock Vean on Sunday. Matt Roberts & Sam Staniland lead the team out but unfortunately lost 3&2. James Franklin & Phil Sedgeman levelled things up though with a 3&2 victory of their own.
Ryan & Lee Bushby seemed to be cruising in the third match of what turned into a epic match. In the meantime, Foursomes Cups winners Fred & Paul Horsell lost 2&1 but in the last match, Joel Cameron & Johnny McAvoy levelled with another 3&2 victory.
This meant the third match became all important and Budock Vean had fought back to make it all square after 18-holes and extra holes were required. It was not to be though and Budock Vean won the first extra hole to take the match 3-2.
