Corhampton GC Raise Life Saving Funds
Corhampton Golf Club have raised more than £15,000 for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.
From President days and summer parties, to raffle squares and bridge afternoons, the members of our club have gone above and beyond to raise vital funds and awareness, after one of our members experienced the expertise of the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance (HIOWAA) Critical Care Team first-hand.

To mark the end of our partnership, Emma Stileman from HIOWAA, joined the club for our end of year ‘dine out’ – where club captains, Elizabeth Steel and Chris Marsden-Jones, presented a cheque for £15,285.84.

Thanks to the dedication and support from members of our Golf Club, HIOWAA's Critical Care Team will be able to continue providing advanced pre-hospital care – which can mean the difference between life or death for the most critically ill or injured patients in our region.

Chris commented "Some time ago the Air Ambulance landed near our first tee and took one of our golfers, who was in a critical condition, direct to hospital faster than any ground ambulance could have done - We know that we are contributing to a very important cause, which actually saves lives."

Emma thanked the club, “It has been a pleasure to work with Corhampton Golf Club this year and support through their fantastic fundraising, the engagement and enthusiasm from its members has shone through and helped us raise crucial awareness of our life-saving service.”

Well done everyone and thanks for all of your contributions throughout the year.
