Winter Golf
Playing conditions
Dear Member,

Winter Rules for Members and Guests

Fairway mats are compulsory and are now in use.

Mats must be used for all shots played from fairway areas of the golf course.

If your ball lands in the semi rough/rough, you will have the option of moving the ball to the semi rough/rough where you may play from the turf or bring it to the fairway and use your mat. N.B. you must be at least 5 paces from the fairway. You may also just play from the semi rough/rough using the mat. Anything that helps the course is good.

Wherever possibly, please walk into the rough to play or retrieve your ball. Leave your trolley/buggy on the fairway.

You may putt from off the green edges but no chipping unless your are using a mat.

Traffic control measures have been put in place across the golf course to reduce pressure on areas which are recoving from
a busy summer season. Please try and avoid walking on these areas where possible. The white lined and roped off areas on
the golf course are there to advise you that these areas require recovery and may be slippery under foot, please do not step
over these areas.

Drive golf buggies will be assessed on a daily basis and information will be posted.

Please use winter wheels on all electric trolleys.

Push trolleys are permitted.

All buggies and trolleys should not travel over any areas that look soft or be anywhere near the edges of the full greens.
Please adhere to this ruling in order to limit damage to the course.

To help thwart the unwanted visitors, please close the gates after entering and leaving various parts of the course.

NO MAT - NO GOLF! - Please look after the course.

Course/playing conditions will be posted on Facebook and Club V1 on a daily basis after 8.15am each day.

Thank You.

Jim Brown
