As you will be aware, the Club operates a Course Status system which is updated daily. Please ensure you check and familiarise yourself with the current status before starting your round.
All golfers share responsibility for protecting our course, especially during the winter months. When buggies are permitted, users must follow the designated buggy routes at all times. Ropes and stakes have been positioned around the course to manage wear and minimise damage—trolleys must remain behind the ropes. At times, it will be necessary to leave your bag or trolley and walk with a club or two to play your shot (for example, when approaching the 2nd green).
Please stay on the paths provided and use common sense. Not all paths are fully roped; however, golfers should still remain on them rather than leaving at the earliest opportunity.
Trolleys must NOT be taken between bunkers and greens.
It has become noticeable that divots and pitch marks are not always being repaired. Please replace all divots—these will still take and recover at this time of year—and repair your pitch mark plus any others you may see.
The Club continues to adopt a policy of keeping the course open and playable for as many members as possible. However, unnecessary or avoidable damage may lead to changes in course status, stricter winter policies, or disciplinary action for any individuals found to be causing deliberate damage.
Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us maintain the quality of the course for everyone.
