Dear Members,

I wanted to share a lovely update from Cumbernauld & Kilsyth Care following a visit that Kirsty and I made earlier this week. They’ve since posted publicly to thank Dullatur Golf Club for the incredible £2,900 raised throughout the year – from Burns Night, Captain’s Day, bucket collections, and the many quiet acts of generosity across our membership.

Hearing firsthand how much this support means was genuinely humbling. It reflects well on every single person who contributed, no matter how big or small.

While we were there, it became clear they are still under real pressure, particularly with families and young people struggling through the winter months. With that in mind, I’d like us to make one final push before the end of the year.

They are in urgent need of the following items to include in their referral packs right up to Christmas:

New hot water bottles (all age groups)
Warm oodies
Cosy blankets
Gift sets suitable for teenage boys and girls

If you’re able to help, a drop-off box will be placed inside the clubhouse next to the Pro Shop from tomorrow (Friday 28th November) until Monday 15th December.

Anything you can spare will be gratefully received.
