Members Consultation
Dear Member,
Board Changes
The consultation period on the proposed Board changes is now over. Thank you to those who gave feedback. The next stage is for a resolution to be put to a members vote for acceptance or rejection. A formal proposal with accompanying explanations will be issued to members in the New Year.
Changes to Articles of Association
The Board would also like to take the opportunity to update the Club’s Articles of Association to reflect current legislation, working practices and opportunities. These will require further resolution(s) for members to vote upon.
These are once in a generation matters and inevitably take time. It is anticipated that resolutions will be put to the membership at the latest at the next AGM (July 2026).
Club Byelaws
The Club Byelaws are the regulations that members are bound by, by virtue of their membership of the Club. They cover the Playing of Golf (including competitions), the Clubhouse, the Course and Practice Facilities, as well as General rules regarding how the proper conduct and management of the Club.
These have been updated and the latest version is on the Noticeboard and on the website (Members LogIn)/ Clubv1 (Club Docs>Governance)
Men’s AGM
(Male) Members are reminded that the Men’s AGM is in January and the positions of Secretary and Course Committee Representatives (2) are due for election.
