Course Update - Gainsborough
9th Hole
Please be aware that, from tomorrow morning, Thursday 11th December, the 9th hole on the Gainsborough Course will be closed. This is due to recent heavy rainfall and ongoing groundworks on the pathway. For safety reasons, the closure will remain in place until the work can be fully completed.
During this period, golfers will begin play from the 10th tee, complete the back nine holes, and then continue to play holes 1 to 8 on the front nine. The course will remain qualifying for handicap purposes throughout.
To return buggies to the Clubhouse, the team will be utilising the path from the 1st hole. The Pro Shop will provide guidance on the route to follow. Walking golfers will need to return to the Clubhouse via the main car park.
