Competition's & Handicap UPDATE (25/22)
Winter UPDATE: New Tee Mats & Temporary Greens
Important Notice: New Tee Mats & Temporary Greens
From Thursday 18th December, all play — both competition and General Play rounds — will switch to the newly installed tee mats. This change allows our Greenkeeping team to protect and care for the grass tee boxes during winter.
Key Points
• Play from the RED course calculations when using the mats.
• The teeing area is restricted to the mat:
• The ball must be played from the mat.
• The player’s stance must also be on the mat.
Rules enforcement:
• In stroke play, failing to tee off from the mat counts as not playing from inside the teeing area.
• Penalty: two strokes, and the error must be corrected.
• If you continue without correction (e.g., teeing off at the next hole), you will be disqualified.
• In social rounds, reports will be investigated and passed to the Playing Committee.

?? Please keep off the grass tee areas.

Temporary Greens
• We are working hard to avoid temporary greens.
• If a hole is withdrawn, it will be removed from the course card and clearly notified.
• Such holes must not be played.
• If conditions force a significant number of holes to be withdrawn, the course will not be suitable for handicap purposes and maybe be closed.

Club Spirit
Even if the course is closed, we warmly encourage you to drop in for a cuppa and a chat — your support keeps the club community thriving.
