I am delighted and honoured to be appointed as the new Lady Captain for 2026.

I would like to thank our outgoing Lady Captain, Clare Jones, for her hard work and commitment throughout her year in office.

My first golf event, the annual ladies’ ‘Turkey Trot’ on 7th December was unfortunately cancelled due to bad weather, however this did not deter the ladies who attended on the day as we were able to take part in an indoor ‘fun’ putting competition.

For my first Charity event however (Mixed Christmas Stableford Competition) on 11th December, I was blessed with fine weather and received great support from members who enjoyed the day. Following the competition I was pleased to welcome Grace Higgins from the Teenage Cancer Trust, which is my chosen Charity for the year, who gave a talk in the club house and provided an informative insight into the work of the Charity.

I have a number of further events planned for the coming year, and look forward to receiving your valued support.
