2025 Turkey Trot
Fashion Police on Alert!
The annual Turkey Trot Competition was held on Saturday 20th December in relatively mild and benign conditions.
30 hardy souls entered the Turkey Trot this year, and despite some heavy rain in the hour before the start, the sky brightened and umbrellas were nowhere to be seen.
As you can see from the photo, there were some dodgy outfits on show, with this years best dressed going to Tina "Reindeer" Sheppard and Kevin Honey (The Elf on the Shelf).
Despite the soggy underfoot conditions there were 5 sub-par rounds fighting for the prizes.
Winner was Ed Barnard, with a very creditable 27, followed by Ivan Green on 28 with Rhys Mathias sneaking in on countback with 29.
Thanks to Lesley Sharman, everyone was warmed up by hot soup and bread afterwards.
