Karen Lewis submitted the highest bid for the Sergio Aguero framed and signed shirt in the Silent Auction that Lady Captain ran on behalf of her nominated STEPS charity. Congratulations and thank you Karen.
As we get towards the end of Lady Captain and the Captain's year, with this auction, other raffles and events plus the Charity Bunker that proved very fruitful, the Captains will have raised in the region of £1800 for the STEPS Charity excluding the 100 hole challenge that raised over £4000 for the charity. Thank you for your support to this cause.
The generosity of the membership and friends has been incredible this year again. As well as raising funds for the STEPS charity, we have held events for Tommy's Journey charity, McMillan Coffee morning and Breast Cancer awareness. These events don't just happen by chance. Thank you to all of the people involved in the organisation, ticket selling, driving the message, for going in the bunker and for the many donated prizes for raffles etc.
