Club V1 App Update – Launching 12 January 2026
We would like to inform members of an upcoming update to the Club V1 system, which will go live on Monday 12 January 2026.
As part of this update, the Club V1 app will move to a paid download model. Under the new structure, the app would normally cost:
• £2.99 per year (with advertisements), or
• £9.99 per year (without advertisements).
Wheatley Golf Club has chosen to cover this cost on behalf of its members.
This means there will be no charge to members to download or use the Club V1 app — it will remain fully included within your membership.
To do this, the Club has opted into the updated licensing arrangement at an additional cost of £1,400 + VAT per annum, ensuring uninterrupted access for all members without passing the cost on.
As part of the upgrade, Club V1, HowDidiDo and IG Golf have now been merged into one single, new app. This provides a more streamlined and modern experience, bringing all member services together in one place.
The updated system will continue to support:
• Tee time bookings
• Competition entry and scoring
• Handicaps and results
• Club news and notifications
Further guidance will be shared ahead of the launch date to ensure a smooth transition.
